Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef and former Institute of Culinary Education instructor she is a popular TV host. Burrell hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on Food Network. Food Network. Ann Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef and her distinctive hairstyle and her pumped up personality, provides the basics of cooking that any person can master. Chef Burrell also has worked in some of New York's top restaurants, has been studying Italian food, its culture and traditions, and was a contestant on Food Network's Iron Chef America. While growing up in Upstate New York, Chef Burrell was captivated by food and cooking at an early age. Her passion was for food and restaurant by enroling at The Culinary Institute of America following her graduation in English and Communications from Canisius College, Buffalo NY. I loved every minute that I was a student at The Culinary Institute of America she says. I couldn't seem to get enough out of the experience. After graduation, Burrell worked at La Bottega del 30 in Tuscany and La Taverna del Lupo (in Umbria) while attending Umbria. She also attended the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. When she was in Italy the chef developed an appreciation for and appreciation for Italian cuisine. It had a significant influence on her perception of food. Burrell is a well-known ambassador to the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation. She was a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that assists children with obstacles. As a speaker, Burrell is on the road to speak about her passion for food as well as her career in the culinary field. Anne often has mentioned throughout her professional career she is incredibly fortunate to share with others what is truly important for her.
